Happy December 1st! I don't know about you guys, but with the holidays on the horizon, I have been eating chocolate like its going out of style. I think my nickname should be Willa Wonka. Anyway enough about my delicious Godiva binges.
Beside stuffin my face, I have been working on a new plushie concept that I have been trying to finish for a while. They are based on a new character that I did called Katkeshi (Just like my Golden Canary Print) Katkeshi are a combo between Cats and Kokeshi dolls. But with a twist. Unvelcro the front of their kimonos and they have sexy pasties on their chest. The first Katkeshi that I did was for the Plush You 2 show in Seattle, back in October. She was a one of a kind. The second one Jade is listed below and she is for the Dollywood show at Monkey House Toys in Los Angeles December 1 - 30. She is for sale at this show.
I have also made four Katkeshis that are going to be a staple in my store. Little Lotus, Sweet Creme, Crimson Love and Cappuchina. They are now available on my site and will be available on Etsy.
Katkeshis are everywhere on the tsai-fi site. Look for new Katkeshi Prints, Smashed Sea Prints, Nerdy Birdy Prints and other fun prints coming your way very soon.

Have a great Weekend. Mark it on your calendars, tsai-fi is gonna be at Bazaar Bizarre SF which is is coming soon (see details below) and Craftland is opening today in Rhode Island.

xoxo,

I am going crazy because it seems as though my website is not working correctly. Some of the images are missing.
While the technicians are trying to fix this problem, customers can still purchase items by clicking the button below the description of the item on the buying page. The button "says make payments with" inside of the caption. The purchasing process is the same as it always is, the button image is just missing. Thanks again for all your support.

Click to check out prints!

First, I wanted y'all to check uut my brand spankin' new Nerdy Birdy Green Tea Series of Prints. I was totally inspired by Pink Berry (a hip, new Frozen yogurt spot in Los Angeles).

They have this Green Tea with fresh Strawberries combo that is insanely amazing. I start salivating just thinking about how berry, berry delicious it is. The color scheme was just so fresh and summery so I had to add it to my new sketches.

This series of prints features Green Nerdy Birdys and a different sweet gal that has been suckered into how cute they are. The first print features a little lass that is dealing with some bad karaoke tweetin'. The second features the unfortunate circumstance a lass that has some unwanted special sauce added to her green tea ice cream. The third and final print features a sweetheart on a park bench that is gettin blasted by a little poot of not so fresh air.

Mixed media- ink and digital coloring.

This print measures 8" x 10" with a white border for framing. It was printed on archival art paper that has a light texture to it. It is signed and dated by the artist. The print is sent in a stay flat envelope so it stays in fabulous condition.

Each Print is $13.00 plus shipping and tax if it applies.
They are currently in my Etsy store, but they are coming soon to my website. I am working on some other prints too, so I am waiting to do a massive update with my website.

Second, I wanted to update on how the Brooklyn Renegade Show was. Renegade was a ton of fun. Well except for the rainshowers that poured down on the first day. Luckily my pal Cherry Box and I escaped with minor damages to our booth. Here is our booth before the rainshower.

Third, A kickass female MC that goes by the name Vaitea is rockin' my tee in her new video. She is freakin' amazing. Can't wait til she releases an album.
Check it out the video with my tee here

Happy April Fool's Day! I am getting over a brutal cold that has kept me inside for two weeks and has rendered my alcohol intake to zero. I finally can start having a few drinks again...yeah! Definitely not an alkie but I like to get my drink on after a hard day at work. Ok enough of that.. I am just happy to simply feel better. Oh and I haven't really been using my sewing machine to create anything new except my piece for the medex show because my machine totally busted. But I just bought a refurbished 1960's singer, so I should be cracking things out right and left. Whoohoo! New Bags are coming soon!!!
Ok Two things that I want to blog about:
Number one is: Brand new pendants that I have been working on for a while that I finally have finished. They required a lot more explanation since they are based on Chinese Astrology! So it took me a while to upload them into my website. But check them out. I hope you like them!

Number two is: tsai-fi is going to be vending in San Francisco for the first time ever. I am going to be at Bazaar Bizarre in San Francisco on May 19 and 20th. Don't forget to mark your calendars!!!! Yeah! This will kick off a bunch of summer festivals!

This painting is 16" x 20" But the next three will be 9" X 12" It was such a blast to do. I can't wait to start on the next ones. I am going to do 9" x 12" prints eventually based on these paintings.

It has been a necklace rampage in my little workspace. Check out my little pretty pendants.
Each necklace is unique because it is completely handpainted. The pendants are a super cute depiction of original artwork by tsai-fi. Each wooden cameo is painted with acrylic paint and given a gloss coat to protect the artwork. I have been crazy with painting recently. I will be posting a brand new acrylic painting this week from a series of four called Lolitas love Dust Bunnis.

Finally finished my contribution to the March Medical Experiments Art Show at the Push Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. The name of my contribution is Experiment A -Two Tailed Brain Swap - "Meowsy and Squeaksta" Since their brains were swapped, the Kitty loves cheese and the mousy now loves fish. The Kitty has two posable tails and the mousy has two tails too!
Check Out the photos below. I even posted a detailed pic of the kitty's exposed brain!

This is the tag that comes with the characters above.
